Vyatka State University (Vyatka State University) is a state higher educational institution in the city of Kirov, Kirov region. It is one of the 33 flagship universities in the country. The university was founded in 1963, and in 2001 the university was given the status of a classical university.

INSTITUTE OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT

The Institute of Economics and Management offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics, doctoral programs, and a variety of additional education options. The course content is based on important research findings and developments and trends that will affect future business and the economy. Undergraduate studies include current and fundamental topics in economics and management, economic policy, environmental and health economics, digital marketing, and human resource management.

FACULTY CIVIL ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE

The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture is an educational institution dedicated to civil engineering and architectural issues. The Faculty is now accredited to conduct research at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.

ELECTROTECHNICAL FACULTY

The main activity of the University’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering is the training of electrical engineering professionals. The faculty offers three bachelor’s degree programs (Electrical Engineering, Applied Electrical Engineering, and Multimedia Communications) as well as master’s and doctoral degree programs in Electrical Engineering. Faculty members have well-developed networks of international contacts, organize scientific conferences, enable participation in international research and application projects, and facilitate student and teacher mobility. With the knowledge gained in engineering, electrical engineering graduates are upgrading to lead the domestic electrical engineering industry and gaining international prestige for their knowledge and skills.

UNIVERSITY LIBRARY

The University Library is one of the largest libraries in the city of Kirov and the Kirov region. It is the methodological center of the Methodological Association of University Libraries of the city of Kirov.

Since April 1, 2016, in connection with the creation of Flagship University, two libraries have been merged: Vyatka State University and Vyatka State Humanitarian University. Merged book funds, electronic information resources, and electronic catalogs.

The fund of the library is universal, corresponding to the profile of the university, and has more than 1,000,000 copies of publications. In the structure of the library: 6 subscriptions and 6 reading rooms for 453 seats, halls of open access to electronic information resources for 36 workstations. STUDENT SCIENTIFIC SOCIETY

The Student Scientific Society (SSS) of Vyatka State University was founded on April 13, 1966, as an association that includes student scientific circles, clubs, and bureaus.

The main goals of the SSS work are to involve students in research, innovation, and educational activities; Creation of conditions for the development of scientific potential and the formation of research competencies; Assistance in organizing the process of research, innovation, scientific and educational activities.

By the end of the 70s, a student experimental laboratory of microelectronics, as well as a student architectural and design bureau, were formed based on the SSS.

Today, the SSS is the main student association that promotes science at the university. Regular projects of the scientific community are: “In Science” (includes events in the formats of public lectures and scientific quizzes); “I’m in business” (meetings with regional entrepreneurs in the public talk format); “Science stand up” (competitions in Science Slam format); scientific laboratory “Functional materials”; scientific circle. “Humanities”.

UNIVERSITY STUDENT LIFE

Student Club of Vyatka State University unites various areas of student amateur performances; organizes and conducts traditional annual events and festivals, and unites the largest part of students with an active life position.

The university has two assembly halls in the educational building No. 1 (Moskovskaya st., 36) and in the educational building No. 14 (Lenin st., 111), where most of the student cultural events are held and student creative groups work (“Modern Boom Ballet”, student chamber choir of Vyatka State University “Gaudeamus”, student theater, Student Theater of Fashion of Vyatka State University “Toofly. DORMITORY

Students of Vyatka State University are provided with 8 dormitories, dormitories No. 2-5 are combined into a campus.
