POLYTECHNIC SCHOOL
Polytechnic school is one of the largest subdivisions of SibFU, with 18 departments about 480 people as faculty and staff, and more than 3500 students. Each major includes specializations that allow students to get deep training in a particular sphere of engineering. One particular thing about specializations at our School is that the broad scope of knowledge and qualification level of our graduates enables them to have a successful career in production and design companies on one hand, and do business in the commercial or economic sector.
All departments also have modern laboratories to keep up with the times: they are equipped with industrial up-to-date computers, tools, and automated machines. Polytechnic Schools actively develop research in the synthesis of new instruments and construction materials, the design of machines and devices, and energy- and recourse-efficient units.
SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
School of Architecture and Design provides a diverse range of majors. Although they may seem to be unrelated to each other, things are just the other way around: all of the majors are vital for creating a comfortable environment for life.
The main task of an urban planner is to assist a city in creating (or preserving) its unique image. To solve this problem one has to comprehend the city’s nature, hidden in the history of its development. So knowledge in architecture only is not enough — ecology and economy, hygiene and sociology, management of urban services and facilities, and transport should also be an area of expertise for an urban planner. Urban development is the highest and most sophisticated domain of architecture.
SCHOOL OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
The Schools trains business process managers for the oil and gas industry, mechanical engineering, energy development, transport, mining and smelting industry, and construction, as well as for small businesses, modern and innovative companies, regional governmental structures, and municipal institutions.
School training systems enable to realize the modern model of personal development, made of such components as Life-long learning, and fundamental education within the framework of Bachelor’s degree programs (HR management, Economics, Management, Computer Science in Business, Applied Computer Science), Specialist programs (Economic Security), Master’s degree programs (Economics, Management, Applied Computer Science), postgraduate programs to obtain a degree of candidate of science, or via gaining deeper scope of knowledge in a precise area, attending programs of professional retraining, which take into account up-to-date trends in the development of economics, innovations in management and computing technology.
SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS, FINANCE, AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
Mission: Providing a comprehensive, multi-level and innovative education to prepare strategically and ethically minded professionals with a high level of expertise in the field of economics, management, and finance. Increase the scientific knowledge and dissemination of economic and financial innovations, and rational use of natural resources, ensuring sustainable development of the region and the country.
SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL
Krasnoyarsk Scientific School carrying out the multidimensional complex analyses was formed in 1965 under the direction of L. A. Aizenberg and A. P. Yuzhakov; the first one directed the integral representations for holomorphic functions and the second was at the head of the theory of multidimensional residues mentioned in the works of E. Martinelli and J.-P. Leray.
During the years of the school formation, the basic principles of the theory of integral representations and deductions have been established, and integrated methods were linked with algebraic and differential equations. These studies are reflected in monographs by L. A. Aizenberg and A. P. Yuzhakov; A. K. Tsikh; A. M. Kytmanov; N. N. Tarkhanov; L. S. Maergoiz.
Fundamental results were drawn in complex convexity, which was subsequently used and expanded to the developed theory in the monographs of Scandinavian mathematicians L. Hörmander; M. Andersson, M. Passare, and R. Sigursson. The stability problem of two-dimensional digital recursive filters was also solved.
