MEDICAL INSTITUTE

The Medical Institute expects the training of specialists in the following areas: general medicine (physician), pediatrics (pediatrician), dentistry (stomatologist), and pharmacy (pharmacist). experts in these areas. As a result of training, a professional qualification is formed, which is necessary for adaptation and productive activity in various professional communities, the desire for social and professional mobility of specialists. – involvement of practitioners in the educational process; – it is envisaged to conduct author’s courses and visiting lectures by leading scientists of the Russian Federation; – the opportunity to form and develop scientific practical skills, undergo foreign practices and internships; – development of practical skills on the basis.

FACULTY OF PEDIATRICS, DENTISTRY AND PHARMACY

The Faculty of Pediatrics, Dentistry and Pharmacy was founded in October 2019. The mission of the faculty is to train medical students, taking into account the best achievements of domestic and world science, healthcare and pharmacy; formation of a highly qualified specialist capable of solving urgent problems of health care in modern conditions, competitive and in demand in the labor market. At the faculty, in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standards, training is carried out mainly in the areas of training 05/31/02 Pediatrics, 05/31/03 Dentistry and 05/33/01 Pharmacy (specialist level). Employees of the departments of the faculty also take an active part in the implementation of the direction of training 31.05.01 General Medicine (specialist level).

INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION

ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTION INSTITUTE – a regional leader in the training of qualified personnel in the field of architecture and construction, and technosphere safety. Areas of study: ARCHITECTURE (bachelor’s, master’s, postgraduate studies); URBAN PLANNING (bachelor’s degree); CONSTRUCTION (bachelor’s, master’s, specialist’s, postgraduate, doctoral studies); TECHNOSPHERE SAFETY (bachelor’s, master’s). For our students: – modern comfortable educational environment; – in the role of teachers – experienced practitioners, designers and specialists, heads of organizations; – rich student life; – and much more.

INSTITUTE OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT

The Institute of Economics and Management is a major scientific and educational center that organizes the educational process of training specialists with a higher economic education, which ensures the formation of their competencies in the field of economics and management. Distinctive features are a high level of professionalism of the teaching staff, the active participation of students and teachers in scientific projects and educational programs of international exchange, as well as the functioning of a number of scientific schools, research centers, and laboratories. The institute includes 4 departments. There are many representatives from foreign countries among the students studying at the Institute.

POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE NAMED AFTER N.N. POLIKARPOV

Polytechnic Institute named after N.N. Polikarpov is a structural subdivision of one of the leading flagship universities in Russia – Oryol State University named after I.S. Turgenev, which has been training engineering personnel for a long time. The high status and image of the education received in the regional community, and the recognition of graduates of the institute by public organizations and the business community are associated, first of all, with the appropriate quality of the educational process. The institute has a developed system of personnel training: from secondary vocational education to postgraduate and doctoral studies. The Institute has a high level of international relations with leading universities near and far abroad, as well as partnerships with leading regional enterprises and industrial enterprises of the country.

STUDENT SCIENTIFIC SOCIETY

The main goal of the SSS is to popularize science among students and create conditions for realizing the scientific potential of students.

The main tasks of the SSS are:

Coordination of the activities of the departments of the university and SSS structural units in the field of organizing scientific research of students, using their results (to date, 15 scientific associations have been created at faculties, institutes, and other structural units of OSU named after I.S. Turgenev), conducting student scientific events various levels, organization of scientific trips, etc.

Informing students about planned scientific conferences, seminars, competitions, exhibitions, and other events of a scientific nature and the possibility of participating in them.

Establishment and development of contacts with SSS of other universities, and research institutions for the purpose of joint scientific activities and exchange of experience.

Coverage of SSS activities in the media and the Internet.

The research work of students is one of the priorities of the university. Student science is integrated into university projects. Already today, members of the SSS OSU named after them. I.S. Turgenev takes part in the implementation of research and development within the framework of grants. Research is carried out in various areas of science, and highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff with extensive experience in implementing scientific projects and the modern material and technical base of the university allow them to be carried out with high quality.

INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITY

Target:

Integration of the flagship university as an equal partner in the international scientific and educational space; formation and maintenance of the image of the university as a world-class educational and scientific center, the development of international relations of the university and the achievement of other goals facing the university in the field of international cooperation.

Directions for the development of international relations:

Creation of favorable conditions for the activation of academic mobility of students, graduate students, teachers

Creation of conditions for mastering foreign languages by university teachers and staff with the aim of their active participation in international programs and grants, as well as the preparation of curricula and courses for the preparation of foreign students.

Internationalization of research activities

Development of interregional cooperation with Russian universities to jointly solve the problems of entering the international educational and scientific community.

Development of international cooperation with foreign universities and scientific and educational foundations and organizations.

HOSTELS

University has several hostels. They are located in quiet, residential areas of the city. The Faculties of the University as well as the city center are easily accessible from the dormitories. Most of the dormitories have recently been renovated. The rooms are nicely furnished and contain bathrooms on the block. Bedclothes are supplied. Rooms are offered at a reasonable price level.
