    From the first days of its existence, MSTI, ahead of the most daring development forecasts, rushed into the future, dynamically developing as a multi-profile and multi-level educational complex. For 10 years, in an unprecedentedly short time, the university has gone from an institute to a university. Thanks to the brilliantly passed state accreditation, he received the status of a university on February 11, 2004. During this historically very short time, a solid educational bridge was laid from the 20th to the 21st century, keeping up with the times, and bringing to life the most daring, most innovative scientific and educational ideas and projects. Over the past years, MSTU has become a highly effective educational and research center of Adygea, one of the leading technological universities in the south of Russia, has firmly taken its rightful place in the Russian educational space, and is recognized in many countries of the world.

    MEDICAL INSTITUTE

    The Medical Institute of MSTU was founded in 2004.

    The Medical Institute of MSTU has the necessary educational and laboratory facilities and human resources

    In its structure, the Medical Institute of MSTU has:

    • 4 faculties – Faculty of General Medicine
    • Faculty of Pediatrics
    • Faculty of Pharmacy
    • Faculty of Dentistry;
    • 13 departments;
    • Accreditation and simulation center of the II level;
    • Multidisciplinary medical center.

    Currently, not only Russian students study here, but also students from far and near abroad – the Republic of Chad, Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Nepal, Brazil, Morocco, Ghana, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and other countries.

    FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

    The Faculty of Engineering was founded in 1996 (until 2019, the Faculty of Engineering and Economics). The faculty unites 3 departments: mathematics, physics and system analysis, road transport, oil, and gas business, and energy.

    Graduates of the faculty can engage in entrepreneurial activities and work at enterprises of various forms of ownership, and state and municipal governments. The acquired knowledge and qualifications will allow graduates to hold positions in the field of transport, oil and gas activities, and the electric power industry as managing, financial and commercial directors, process engineers, shift supervisors, site foremen, and dispatchers.

    FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY

    The Faculty of Technology was founded in 1994. The faculty consists of three departments.

    Laboratories are equipped with modern equipment to ensure not only the educational process but also scientific research.

    The high quality of student training, the powerful scientific and pedagogical potential of the teaching staff, a solid educational and laboratory base, strong ties with enterprises – key employers provide the faculty with stable development, and its graduates – guaranteed employment in their specialty with a high salary and career growth prospects.

    FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT

    The Faculty of Economics and Service was established in 1996 as a result of the restructuring of the Faculty of Economics of the Maikop State Technological Institute, initially called the Faculty of Finance and Economics. In 2014, as a result of the merger of the Faculty of Finance and Economics and the Faculty of New Social Technologies, the Faculty of Economics and Service was formed.

    During its existence, the faculty has trained over three thousand specialists who successfully work in the credit and financial sector, in state bodies of the federal, territorial and municipal levels, ministries and departments, travel companies and agencies, institutions and service organizations, economic services, marketing departments and advertising of business entities of the Republic of Adygea and regions of Russia, as well as in foreign countries.

    SCIENTIFIC LIBRARY OF MSTU

    Library fund

    Includes over 635 thousand storage units, including over 253 thousand electronic publications from the content of subscription electronic library systems (ELS) and over 9500 local electronic documents. According to the intended purpose, the fund includes over 267 thousand copies. educational literature, over 120 thousand copies. educational and methodical literature, over 134 thousand copies. scientific literature, over 44 thousand copies. fiction, over 44 thousand copies. periodicals in all areas of the educational activities of the university and other types of publications.

    INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITY

    International cooperation is an integral part of the activities of the Maikop State Technological University and an important tool in ensuring the quality of education and its compliance with international standards.

    Maikop State Technological University maintains stable relations with many foreign universities and international organizations in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America.

    STUDENT SCIENTIFIC SOCIETY

    The research work of students is carried out within the framework of the Student Scientific Society

    The university has created favorable conditions for the purposeful and systematic participation of students in scientific activities.

    One of the most important tasks facing the RW organization is to identify, encourage and support talented student youth to preserve and develop the intellectual potential of the university.

    The basis of the organization of RW is the principle of even distribution of student scientific events during the academic year.

    DORMITORIES

    Every student at the university is able to settle down and live in renovated dormitories. The dorms have all the necessary amenities.

    In the leisure rooms, students can listen to music and watch their favorite TV programs. In light cozy branches of the libraries, students can prepare for lectures and seminars, work out scientific sources, and read their favorite newspapers and magazines.

    In athletic facilities, students can gain physical strength through weightlifting and other activities.

    Creating proper social and living conditions in student dormitories, conducting interesting cultural and entertainment programs, and controlling the observance of the rules of the dormitory are some of the important tasks of student self-government in dormitories, which derives from the social program of economic and educational activity of the university.
