Kamchatka State University named after Vitusa Beringa
The Kamchatka State Pedagogical Institute was organized in 1958 by the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR (No. 897) based on a pedagogical school and was located in a three-story building on the street. The embankment was built in the same year. The first classes in it took place on October 17, 1958, and from this day the history of the institute begins.
Today the university is at the stage of rapid development. So in 2022, 9 new basic professional educational programs were developed, for which the admission of applicants was announced for the first time. Of these, 5 undergraduate programs and 4 master’s programs.

FACULTY OF NATURAL AND TECHNICAL SCIENCES
The Faculty provides classes in Physics, Mathematics, and Cognitive Science and is designed to meet the needs of its own and other faculties. Courses are offered on BSc and MSc degree levels. The Faculty provides post-graduate scientific training as well.
The Faculty of Natural Sciences administers its own BSc and MSc programs in Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Cognitive Science. A continuing education program is also offered in Reactor Physics and Reactor Technology.

DORMITORIES
Student dormitories have all the facilities a student needs. There is a well-equipped study room, recreation room, gym, and leisure center.
Each room in the apartment is equipped with:
