Ingush State University (IngGU) is a Russian university, the main university of the Republic of Ingushetia. Founded in 1994.

On December 29, 2012, a swimming pool was opened on the territory of the sports complex of Ingush State University.

The university trains 508 teachers, including 53 professors – doctors of sciences, and 275 associate professors – candidates of sciences, 26 of which have the title of “Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation”. They provide training in 22 specialty areas, 17 undergraduate courses, 9 master’s degrees, 10 postgraduate specialties, 12 internship areas, and 8 residency areas. The total number of students is more than 10 thousand students.

FACULTY OF MEDICINE

Directions for the preparation of graduates: training of specialists in the specialty – “Medicine”.

In the process of teaching, to activate the student’s potential, various forms of education are used, which are implemented in accordance with the calendar and thematic plans. For each lesson and system, test tasks of varying complexity have been developed, which are carried out during the final lessons and during the final control point. In the simulation class, practical skills are developed, the main purpose of which is to increase the level of theoretical knowledge and improve the manual skills of students of the Faculty of Medicine and doctors – clinical bases of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Ingushetia.

Every year, questions reflecting the latest achievements of medical science and technology are introduced into the lecture course and into the material of practical classes.

INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY

The main task of the Institute of Engineering and Technology is the preparation of highly qualified bachelors, and masters, for the implementation of professional and pedagogical activities in accordance with the modern needs of society and the development trends of Russian education systems.

The Institute of Engineering and Technology includes four graduating departments:

“Machine science”;
“Oil and gas business”;
«Ecology and nature management».

«Electric power industry and electrical engineering»

To ensure the educational process, the institute has the necessary material and technical base. And also there is a process of formation of educational laboratories of newly opened areas of training.

FACULTY OF LAW

The faculty was founded in 2003. Today, more than 400 students study at the faculty. The faculty consists of 5 departments: the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure, Civil Law and Procedure, the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, the Department of History, and the Department of Psychology.

The Faculty has an Academic Council that considers the current and future tasks and plans of this unit of IngSU.

The basis of the educational and methodological support of the department is the developed educational and methodological complexes, methodological manuals for the study of disciplines, plans for seminars and practical classes, and sets of test tasks to control students’ knowledge. These methodological developments are presented both on paper and in electronic form. A plan for mutual pedagogical control (visiting classes) has been adopted and is being implemented.

There is a constant connection with the IngSU library to process applications for the latest educational and scientific literature necessary in the educational process.

Research work is carried out per the annual research plans approved at the meetings. Scientific work is planned based on the proposals of each teacher, taking into account scientific novelty, relevance, timeliness, and modern requirements, and taking into account the main directions of fundamental and applied scientific research carried out at IngSU.

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES OF INGUSH STATE UNIVERSITY

The development of university science is one of the urgent problems in modern higher education in Russia. Its relevance is due to the need to prepare competitive graduates, as well as the current priority of state policy in the field of higher professional education, aimed at integrating higher education, science, production, and business.

Among the strategic priorities for the development of IngSU is ensuring the innovative nature of the development of scientific research in priority areas of development of science, technology, and technology in the Russian Federation, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of scientific activities. Their implementation is ensured by the achievement of the following strategic goals:

Today Ingush State University is a scientific and educational institution, which is a center for training highly qualified personnel in almost the entire range of specialties required for the region, including secondary and higher education, scientific organizations, government structures, and the environmental service of mountain protected areas. Moreover, today specialists with higher education in the language, literature, and history of the people of Ingushetia are trained only here.
